Payment of your rental income in Hungary

Property management is an important part of the real estate investment process and the one most feared by investors.

That's why we delegate this task to qualified local partners. These partners take care of finding tenants as well as complete rental management, including intervention in the event of necessary or urgent renovations to the property.

The question of rents also requires particular care and some clarifications which should be distinguished:

Rent Payment in Hungary

The lease agreement specifies the payment terms. Rent payments are made in euros, not the local currency (the forint), and are paid into a bank account of your choice. It is therefore neither necessary nor obligatory to open a bank account in Hungary for this purpose.

Recourse in the event of non-payment of rent

Our local partners ensure that they screen potential tenants to prevent such a situation.

If this should nevertheless occur, several protection mechanisms are at your disposal:

Monthly visits

Our partners conduct monthly site visits to ensure the condition of the premises and discuss with tenants. Should any problems arise, they will be able to find a solution.

The rental guarantee

A rental deposit is deposited and will be lost by the tenant in the event of non-payment.

This rental deposit must be fully repaid if such a withdrawal is made.

Forced and rapid eviction

The lease agreement can be registered with a notary and will allow the tenant to be evicted within 10 days of non-payment and without having to resort to legal proceedings.

This measure must be combined with the possibility of retaining the rental deposit in the event of non-payment.

Rent indexation

It is contractually possible to insert an automatic rent indexation clause to take inflation into account.

Rental tax

We work with a specialized tax firm that will take care of completing and submitting your tax return to the relevant administration for rental income.
